Choice
Today, 37 years since the landmark Roe VS Wade case in the US and 43 years since the UK’s 1967 Abortion Act, I am aware of my right to natal choice.
I am aware of all the women in other countries who have had that choice denied to them by their ruling government and leaders.
In some parts of our world, women and young girls are being forced to carry children to term against their will. Girls who have been raped, who are the victims of incest, who suffer from severe mental health problems, who are disabled, girls who face the possibility of pregnancy-induced death – girls and women who have been deprived of essential rights over their own body, their health and their future.
Today I am blogging for choice.

Wonderful words!

Unfortunately that is taking place in the good old US as well, it doesn't always have to be physical force that oppresses. (It is, however, always sad and despicable.)
Peace...
